Housing: A Robust Enclosure for Dust Collection
The housing serves as the outer shell of the bag-type dust collector, providing a stable enclosure for the entire dust collection process. Typically constructed from welded steel, it offers excellent sealing and structural strength, effectively preventing the leakage of dust-laden gas and avoiding secondary pollution. The interior is logically divided into zones-such as the inlet chamber, filtration chamber, and clean air chamber-ensuring the orderly flow of gas through the equipment and laying the foundation for effective dust removal.
Filter Bags: The Core Component of Dust Collection
Filter bags are essential for the high-efficiency performance of bag-type dust collectors. They are made from various materials, such as polyester and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Different materials offer distinct properties; for instance, polyester bags are suitable for standard operating temperatures, whereas PTFE bags-resistant to high temperatures and corrosion-can handle complex operating conditions. Supported by internal cages, the bags are installed vertically in a cylindrical shape within the filtration chamber. This design maximizes the filtration surface area, ensuring thorough contact between the dust-laden gas and the filter media, thereby enhancing dust removal efficiency.
Dust Cleaning System: Ensuring Efficient Equipment Operation
As the dust collection process proceeds, dust accumulates on the surface of the filter bags; the dust cleaning system is responsible for removing this buildup in a timely manner. Common cleaning methods include pulse-jet cleaning, mechanical vibration, and reverse-air cleaning. Pulse-jet cleaning uses a momentary blast of high-pressure air to dislodge the dust; mechanical vibration employs a mechanism to shake the bags, causing the dust to fall off; and reverse-air cleaning utilizes a reverse airflow to deform the bags and release the accumulated dust. These systems effectively reduce resistance across the filter bags, ensuring the dust collector operates continuously and reliably.
