Tapered Geometry for Specific Intake Filter Arrangements
The Conical Air Filter Cartridge uses a tapered structure with a larger diameter at one end and a smaller diameter at the other. It is mainly intended for self-cleaning gas turbine intake systems and large compressor intake systems designed around conical cartridge geometry.
The rated airflow per element is 1,800–3,000 m³/h. The large-end diameter ranges from 320 to 450 mm, while the small-end diameter ranges from 240 to 360 mm. Available cartridge lengths are 600–1,000 mm, and filtration grades can be selected from ISO 29461 T5–T10.
Its geometry is used to match specific filter-house layouts and provide different airflow spaces between adjacent filtration elements.
Cylinder-and-Cone Filter Array Compatibility
In actual gas turbine intake systems, conical cartridges can be combined with cylindrical cartridges to create a mixed filter array. The changing diameter provides different spacing between adjacent elements and can also influence the path available for pulse-cleaning airflow.
For this reason, product dimensions need to be confirmed carefully before ordering. The large-end diameter, small-end diameter, overall length, interface and filtration grade should match the existing system rather than being selected only from appearance.
A Conical Air Filter Cartridge can use fully synthetic, moisture-resistant or other suitable filtration media according to actual environmental conditions. Pulse cleaning is also supported.
This makes the product relevant to desert areas, high-dust environments and intake systems that require online cleaning.
Accurate Matching for Replacement Projects
Jiangsu Renhe has development and manufacturing experience covering filter cartridges and gas turbine intake filtration, together with technical experience in large gas turbine inlet filtration optimization and retrofit work.
For replacement orders, development can start from the dimensions of the existing cartridge, equipment drawings or a physical sample. New intake-system projects can also use customized cartridges produced according to technical drawings.
OEM/ODM service is supported. Before mass production, the technical team can confirm the large-end diameter, small-end diameter, length, filter media, end-cap structure and installation interface.
This process is especially important for tapered cartridges because a small dimensional difference at either end can affect compatibility with an existing filter arrangement.
Tooling, Samples and Batch Purchasing
The minimum order quantity for filter elements is 20 pieces, and standard cartridge production time is 7–10 days.
If a non-standard Conical Air Filter Cartridge requires a new mold, the supplied information gives an approximate tooling period of 30 days. Custom purchasing should therefore allow enough time for structural confirmation and tooling before full production.
Photos or videos can be supplied during manufacturing. A 100% inspection is conducted before packing, and third-party inspection is accepted.
Cartons with three-plywood pallets or wooden cases can be used for international shipping. Once a particular tapered structure has been approved, repeat orders can follow the previously confirmed design and reduce repeated drawing work.
