Defined Filtration Grades for PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 Control
The Fine Particle Air Filter is mainly used in the medium or fine filtration stage of multi-stage gas turbine intake systems. It is intended to handle fine airborne particles in the PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 ranges before the air reaches later filtration stages.
Available filtration grades include ISO 29461 T7–T9. According to the supplied information, the minimum ePM1 efficiencies for T7, T8 and T9 are 50%, 70% and 85% respectively.
Rated airflow is 2,500–4,500 m³/h per element, while the initial pressure drop ranges from 80 to 180 Pa. Available filter media include synthetic fiber, glass fiber and composite materials.

Reducing the Particle Load on Final Filters
In a multi-stage gas turbine filtration system, fine filtration has an intermediate protective role. It reduces the amount of PM1 and other fine particles continuing toward the final filtration stage.
By lowering the particle load placed on downstream filters, the Fine Particle Air Filter can form an important part of a staged intake filtration arrangement.
Filtration media type, effective filtration area and pleat structure can be adjusted according to the target filtration performance and airflow requirement. The objective is to improve particle capture while controlling the initial pressure drop at rated airflow.

Purchasing decisions should take local air pollution characteristics into account. Buyers need to confirm the target ISO 29461 grade, rated airflow per element and allowable resistance rather than selecting a filter only from one efficiency figure.

International transportation can use cartons with three-plywood pallets or wooden cases to protect filter media, frames and sealing areas.
For turbine maintenance, intake-system upgrades and recurring spare-filter procurement, previously approved Fine Particle Air Filter dimensions, grades and structures can also provide a consistent basis for later repeat orders.
