Materials for Equipment Housing and Structure
Carbon Steel: The most common base material; widely used for dust collector housings, flue/air ducts, support legs, and similar components. Some products undergo powder coating for corrosion protection. It is cost-effective and suitable for standard, dry dust applications.
Stainless Steel: Commonly 304 or 316L grades; offers excellent corrosion resistance and a longer service life. It is frequently used in environments involving acidic or alkaline corrosion and is often selected for the construction of wet electrostatic precipitators.
Powder-Coated/Baked-Enamel Carbon Steel: Features a neat, attractive appearance and basic rust resistance; commonly used in cleanrooms or other settings where equipment aesthetics are a priority.
FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic)/Granite/Acid-Resistant Cement: Exhibits outstanding resistance to acid and alkali corrosion. Primarily used for the housings and anti-corrosion linings of wet dust collectors; suitable for environments with corrosive flue gases, such as power plants and industrial kilns.
Ceramic/Cement: Frequently used for the cyclone components of ceramic-tube dust collectors; offers excellent high-temperature and wear resistance.
