Pleat Geometry Designed Around Dust Behavior
A Pleated Dust Collector Filter Cartridge increases the effective filtration area by forming the filter media into regular pleats within a fixed cartridge diameter and length. The available filtration area is 8–25 m² per cartridge, with outside diameters from 150 to 400 mm and lengths from 500 to 1,500 mm. The listed normal temperature range is 65–90°C.
The exact number of pleats is not fixed for every cartridge. It depends on cartridge diameter, filter media and structural design. This is important because increasing the pleat count does not automatically improve filtration performance. Pleat height, pleat spacing, media stiffness and dust properties all affect airflow, dust accumulation and pulse-cleaning performance.
For industrial buyers, the pleat design should therefore be treated as a functional parameter rather than only a way to increase nominal filter area.
Pleat Spacing for Cleaning and Pressure-Drop Control
When pleats are positioned too closely, dust can accumulate between them and become more difficult to remove during pulse cleaning. This can be especially relevant when the collected material is fibrous or has a certain level of adhesion.
A more suitable pleat spacing can provide additional room for accumulated particles to separate from the media during cleaning. The cartridge structure should therefore be selected according to particle size, dust adhesion and filtration velocity.
This makes the Pleated Dust Collector Filter Cartridge suitable for industrial systems where installation space is limited but a relatively large filtration area is still required. Listed applications include powder processing, welding fumes, machining, laser cutting, sandblasting and cartridge-type industrial dust collection systems.
Customization for New and Existing Dust Collectors

For customized cartridges, the buyer can provide cartridge dimensions, the installation structure of the dust collector, dust characteristics and required filtration area. Filter media, pleat spacing, end caps and sealing methods can then be adjusted according to the actual equipment.
This approach supports both new dust collector projects and replacement cartridges for existing systems. Existing cartridges can also be used as a reference when a replacement product needs to match an established installation structure.
Sample, MOQ and Batch Production
Samples can be discussed before mass production to confirm the media and cartridge structure. The minimum order quantity for filter cartridges is 20 pieces. Standard production time is 7–10 days.
If a non-standard Pleated Dust Collector Filter Cartridge requires a new mold, the listed mold-development period is approximately 30 days. Different cartridge models may also be discussed within one minimum-order quantity according to the actual purchasing arrangement, giving maintenance and equipment projects more flexibility when several replacement specifications are required.
Photos or videos can be provided during production. Finished products receive a 100% inspection before packing, and third-party inspection is supported.
